District Program Planning and Adjourned Session held at Lopez, Quezon

Photo1079The District Program planning and the District Conference Adjourned Session was held at the rented house of the Lopez Mission in Lopez, Quezon last June 14 -15 this year. Rev. Nazzer Oliveros recently appointed as the administrative pastor of Atimonan UMC who is also new in the Quezon District facilitated the program planning held in the night of June 14.

A SWOT analysis and calenderization of District programs was set out by pastors, deaconess and laity of the local churches of the district until 4 am. And the Adjourned Session was held the next morning of June 15. Pastor Vincent “Boy” Pacto the pastor of Lopez Mission gave the meditation in the opening worship service before the adjourned session was held.

Rev. DS Joseph Flores presided over the district conference adjourned session. It finalized district officers and received some reports. Rev. Nazzer Oliveros was the District Committee on Ministry chair, Rev. Mervin Anthony Montano (associate pastor of Atimonan UMC and pastor of Fuji Mission and Dalahican Mission) was elected as the Council of Ministry chair. Felipina Irenea the deaconess of Atimonan UMC was re-elected president of the Workers’ Fellowship.
