In equipping the church workers of the Quezon Province for the full implementation of the United Methodist Church Disciples of Christ program a pre-encounter God retreat was held first for the pastors and the deaconesses before they can conduct it to their respective churches. It was held last August 7 to 8, 2015 at the Atimonan United Methodist Church in Atimonan, Quezon and was attended by the pastors and deaconesses of the Quezon District.
The seminar retreat was conducted by the conference superintendent Rev. Francis Pera which was his main program not for the Quezon District but for the whole Southern Tagalog Provisional Annual Conference. This program aims to strengthen the discipleship and evangelism program of the church in line with the vision of the bishop of the Manila Epsicopal Area – Bishop Rudy Juan.
