Post EGR At Atimonan UMC facilitated by the CS Francis Pera

After the Encounter God Retreat Seminar held at Pacita UMC last August for the whole Southern Tagalog Provisional Conference, the Church workers of Quezon District held its Post EGR Seminar at the Atimonan UMC Last September 11, 2015 at the Atimonan UMC conducted by Conference Superintendent Rev. Francis Pera.

The Post EGR is the last of the three part seminar of the Encounter God Retreat which aims to build a deeper commitment to Christ and serve as spiritual renewal program for the church workers especially for the Quezon District. This program would be implemented also to the churches as part of the United Methodist Church – Disciples of Christ a evangelism and discipleship program designed for the UMC churches especially under the Manila Episcopal Area.

Post EGR 3

This is one of the main program implemented by CS Francis Pera as he assume his office as the sole superintendent of the Southern Tagalog Provisional Conference. This will strengthen the discipleship program of the churches and encourage ministry of small group called care group ministries. There will be a series of seminars which will be conducted as it will focus on leadership in the UMC DOC discipleship program.

The seminar serves as time of fellowship and bonding and strengthening the ties between church workers for pastors and deaconessed with their spouses.

The UMC DOC program was designed by Rev. John Manlalo with the support of Bishop Rudy Juan of the Manila Episcopal Area.
